The 2012 Birmingham BikeFestival returns for its second straight year on Sunday, August 26th.The festival will begin at 8:00am with the Junior 10-14 bike race and willconclude with the Professional 1/2 race, which will run from 3:40-5:00pm. Thisyear’s event will be even more exciting than it was a year ago. The 2012 festivalwill showcase bike races, donate to several more charitable organizations, andfeature live entertainment in Shain Park. There will be vendors selling a widevariety of items along with participation from local Birmingham communityservices, such as The Community House. Similar to last year, Birmingham BikeFestival will be rewarding its top bikers with $10,000 in total prizes. Be sureto register online, before August 24th to save money on your entryfee!
